  • Assigning key roles for the session (workshop marshall, technical officer, admin officer, etc.)
  • Common issues and challenges for conducting online sessions: a pre-mortem analysis
  • The role of offline activities in augmenting learning outcomes for your online session (e.g. assignment, readings, videos, etc)


Session 3: Managing energy and attention span during live workshops

  • The art of balancing speed vs. lesson absorption
  • Best practices for energy and attention management (ice breakers, contests, etc)
  • Popular apps and softwares for integrating fun in your session


Session 4: Key features and functionalities of MS Teams / Zoom / FB Live

  • Usage of polls, whiteboard, and ‘producer role’ management
  • Differentiation between MS Teams / Zoom / FB Live functionalities and price points
  • How to create a database of your recorded workshops for future use


Session 5: Organizing invitation, registration, and post-webinar evaluation

  • Managing a calendar of activities for your online event from preparation to execution
  • Integrating e-mail, Google Forms, and bit.ly for your invitation needs
  • Making use of FB calendar, EDMs, Eventbrite, and other invitation softwares to boost participation for your public events
