Webinar Description:

This webinar aims to review the role of HR Business Partner in times of crisis focusing on three aspects. The first module reviews the basic and foundational competencies and capabilities of an effective HRBP. This provides the participants the opportunity to reassess their personal capabilities to the basic requirements of the role. The second module focuses on the management of the human side of the crisis and examining how HRBPs can support leaders to effectively address emotions, behaviors, and attitude of people involved in the crisis. Oftentimes, the challenge of leaders during crisis is to lead themselves. The approach will involve three C’s: Communication, Clarity, and Caring. With the focus being the human dimension of the crisis, the HRBP can make leaders and people become more prepared to contain the issues, regain control, and minimize the negative impact to the organization. The third and final module focuses on being able to establish ways of measuring success during and after the crisis. This entails identifying people metrics and KPIs that would be relevant and meaningful in the new normal.

  • Be able to appreciate the behaviors that are required to be displayed by leaders during a crisis and support the leaders in displaying them
